MDACC Pharmaceutical Chemistry Facility

Mission:

The mission of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Facility is to provide MDA Faculty with tool compounds for in vitro-, in-vivo- and potentially clinical stuides to advance programs and provide data for grant applications.

Services Offered:

  • Sourcing and providing commercial chemical probes (mg quantities)
  • Identification and synthesis of chemical probes (<200 mg)
  • Scale up synthesis for in vivo work (>200 mg)
  • SAR Studies to improve potency, properties and efficiacy
  • Synthesis of chemical probes for target identification
  • Consultation service to identify suitable molecules for investigator’s study and synthetic chemistry consultation
  • Providing support letters for grant application
